Career Investigator

The Air, Land and Water career family includes a wide range of careers. Aviation includes pilots and air traffic controllers, but also meteorologists. Land includes areas such as surveyors, geologists and agriculture. Water includes ship captains and marine biologists, but also professional divers. All of these careers involve some sort of specialized education; however, the nature of this education and the time it takes varies, from on-the-job training or a few specialized classes and certifications to 4 years of education. The working conditions can also vary quite a bit, from spending most of the time in an office, to extensive travel and spending most of the time outside.
